I've dedicated the monthly article to Kevin Ricketts and his family, as well all those who we're touched by Kevin in one way or another.

IT'S MONTHLY ARTICLE TIME!
I wish I had better news, and even more so, like many i wish i didn't have to say that as many of us know now, a grade 12 students at Dwyer, Kevin Ricketts passed away this week. I never really knew Kevin that well, but I spent a good deal of time around him and his family, who I have to say is one of the closest most loving famalies I;ve ever seen. Aside from many members of the family being good friends to many, they have also done so much for the community, and for me personally, particularily in the world of basketball. Without them and there devotion to the DBA there would be no true basketball houseleague in Oshawa, and their efforts there have not only inspired many in terms of their own basketball life, but also for me to continue striving for the success of the CCB. I can't thank all of them enough for how much they have given, maybe even without realizing it, and I feel for them right now. Personally, I'm very shocked, and bewildered by everything, as I think mnay are, and I hope that they can get through everything right now, knowing that there is some greater cause. My only other big hopes are that everyone else can respond to this with power, but still ina humble way. This hits home for me, and I;m sure it does for others. For anyone whos life was touched by Kevin or any of the Ricketts in any way can feel a great deal of joy in all the great things Kevin brought into this world, and also be sympathetic towards him and his family who once again, are truly just great people. Thanks for your time.
